Dakota Paris
Attorney
Dakota Paris is a founding partner of Paris & Hill, LLC and a Springfield, Missouri attorney whose practice focuses primarily on criminal defense, federal criminal defense, family law, and complex litigation. Before entering private practice, Dakota served as a Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office, where he prosecuted serious felony cases involving sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, and driving while intoxicated. As an experienced Missouri criminal defense attorney, Dakota has handled jury trials, bench trials, preliminary hearings, bond hearings, and other contested proceedings in state and federal court, and he currently serves on the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the Western District of Missouri. Dakota also serves as an adjunct instructor at Missouri State University and Drury University Law Enforcement Academy, teaching criminal law, constitutional law, statutory law, peace officer liability, and DWI law.
Dakota was a recipient of the 2024 Springfield Business Journal 40 Under 40 award.
Brittnee Hill
Attorney
Brittnee Hill is a founding partner of Paris & Hill, LLC and a Springfield, Missouri family law attorney whose practice focuses on divorce, child custody, child support, guardianships, and other domestic relations matters. Brittnee earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and associate degree in Law Enforcement from Missouri Southern State University before receiving her law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law, where she concentrated on family and criminal law. Brittnee has devoted her practice primarily to family law, helping clients navigate difficult and often deeply personal legal issues with practical guidance and strong advocacy. In addition to practicing law, Brittnee serves as a board member for Ozarks Community Health Center.
Brittnee was a recipient of the 2025 Springfield Business Journal 40 Under 40 award.
